“It’s been just shy of 2 years since we stayed at the Ronald McDonald House of Providence. Those were the toughest days; my son was born 9 weeks early at Women & Infants Hospital. Living in Connecticut, leaving him in the NICU and commuting wasn’t an option. I remember the day I was discharged and walked into the RMH in tears, barely able to fill out the papers. Right away I was greeted with a hug, tissues and a sense that things were going to be okay. At the RMH is where I found the inner strength I never knew I had, time to reflect and rest while giving me comfort I was right across the street from my baby at night. Now, Jackson is a 2 1/2 year old toddler that’s full of life, strong & healthy!”
