Volunteer at the Ronald McDonald House of Providence

Volunteers are the “Heart of our House.” They serve in many ways and without their loyal support we would not survive. In 2019, we had nearly 160 volunteers who donated over 11,600 hours of their time between the House and Family Room.

If you’re interested in becoming a volunteer, please complete our volunteer application and we’ll get back to you. Thank you!

Volunteer Opportunities

yelp-providence-meal-prepWhether it is 5 PM or 2 AM, families appreciate coming home from the hospital to a warm meal. Our House provides a warm dinner for families 365 days a year.

If you are interested in providing a meal for our families, please contact Joanna Powers.

Volunteer Opportunity:
We seek volunteers to help supply and prepare meals. Maximum group size is 6.

How many people should I plan to cook for?
Please prepare for approximately 22 people. This number may change due to House occupancy. Ask for an approximate head-count when you schedule your day to cook.

What time should dinner be served?
We ask that it be served between 5 and 5:30 PM.

This is an extremely flexible opportunity that is great for small groups or individuals who cannot commit to 4 hour volunteer shifts. Volunteers must be 18 years old or older, but youth groups are welcome with adult supervision.

*At least one member of your group will need to complete paperwork.

If you are interested, please contact Joanna Powers.
